Homeless Prevention Resources — What's Available
If you're at risk of or experiencing homelessness, several programs can help. Rapid rehousing provides short-term rental assistance to quickly exit homelessness. Prevention programs help households at risk avoid losing housing in the first place.
Individuals experiencing homelessness retain important legal rights including voting rights, access to emergency healthcare, and protection from discrimination. HUD's CoC program funds local networks of shelter and housing providers across all 50 states.
